Each year COFLT awards up to $250 per person for the Teacher Mini-Grant to COFLT members in order to:

1. provide incentive for teachers to develop new ideas and materials in their language;

2. encourage professional growth and collaboration;

3. facilitate the sharing of effective teaching techniques and materials among colleagues;
4. develop an appreciation of foreign languages and cultures in the community.

Recipient Obligation 

To receive this award, please complete the Teacher Mini-Grant Application, linked HERE. Email your application to cofltawards@gmail.com by May 1. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. 

As a condition of receiving this award, following the event/project or idea implementation, you agree to submit a brief post report of your proposed activity, including the description how the event went and met the objectives of the mini-grant program, photo(s) of participants at the activity, a list of attendees, artifacts, feedback/quotes,  to be published on the COFLT website, Facebook page, and PNCFL Lingo newsletter.  Send your description and photos to cofltawards@gmail.com within one month of the date of your get-together or event.

Eligibility

All COFLT members are eligible to apply.

Deadline 

May 1.  Recipients will be notified of award status by email following a meeting by the Awards Committee.  Grant awards will be mailed upon receipt of a brief description of your completed activity, including how it met the objectives of the mini-grant program, photo(s) of participants at the activity, artifacts, a list of attendees, etc.
